SFS PU College celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi on 2nd of October 2024 in the college premises. The program began with offering of flowers and prayers symbolising due respect and honour to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhiji.

To imbibe the true meaning of the day and follow glorious traits of the noble soul towards a peaceful and prosperous world, an inspirational speech was presented by the Principal Rev. Father Staney Rodriguez. It was followed by one of Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite bhajans ‘Vaishnava Jana Tho by the faculty member Kajal ma’am.

Later on, students and the faculty members paid tribute to the Father of our Nation and his legacy of non -violence, truth and social justice by watching his biography and also the live telecast of 155 th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji celebrations in their respective classrooms.
