The Ethnic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit on 27th January at the
college campus. The event aimed to promote unity in diversity and provide students an
opportunity to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage through traditional attire and
performances.
The programme commenced with the inauguration of the event by Rev. Fr. Staney Rodrigues,
along with the College Cultural Secretary, Ms. Rupsha. Their presence and words set a
meaningful tone for the day, encouraging students to value cultural traditions and harmony.
Following the inauguration, students returned to their respective classrooms where small cultural
programmes were organized by the class coordinators. These activities were conducted from
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., creating a lively and interactive atmosphere within each class.
In the afternoon, a farewell programme for the 2nd PUC students was held from 1:30 p.m. to
2:45 p.m. The programme was filled with emotional moments, heartfelt messages, and cultural
performances, marking a memorable send-off for the outgoing students.
The celebrations concluded with a DJ programme from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., where students
gathered together to celebrate the day with music and dance, bringing the event to an energetic
and joyful close.
Overall, the Ethnic Day celebration was a grand success, fostering cultural awareness,
togetherness, and joyful memories among students and staff.
