REPORT ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

On 15th Aug 2019 Independence Day was celebrated centrally by SFS Institutions i.e. SFS High School, SFS Academy (CBSE), SFS Public School (ICSE), SFS Kannada Medium School, SFS PU College and SFS Degree College. The programme commenced at 8.30 am and was presided by the Chief Guest Col. H. R Sunil, Commanding Officer of Karnataka Battalion NCC.

The dignitaries also included Rev. Fr. Joshy Philip, the Parish Priest of SFS Church, Rev. Fr. Tony , Financial Administrator of SFS Institutions., and all the principals of SFS Institutions.

The event started by hoisting of the flag by the Chief Guest followed by the March Past which included all the students and NCC cadets. Further, colourful cultural performances were contributed to the event by students of every SFS Institutions. Every performance was heart touching. The performance reminded us of our freedom fighters and even made us proud that we are living in a democratic beautiful country.

Also the Chief Guest, Col. H.R. Sunil delivered a motivational speech to the audience. The outstanding students of all the Institutions were awarded were awarded for their exemplary achievements in different fields. The event came to a happy end by felicitating the chief guest followed by National Anthem.
