Vibhinna Cultural Fest-2017

Culture - is art elevated to a set of beliefs.
A two day long Cultural fest was organized in S F S P U College on 27th and 28th October 2017.

The students were divided into seven groups. The groups were named after the colours of Rainbow..VIOLET, INDIGO, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, ORANGE & RED. They were under the proficient guidance of energetic and enthusiastic animators who motivated and encouraged their group members to participate in the various events.

The two day program was the culmination of the events conducted in the months of August and September.

Off stage events were conducted earlier in the month of August and September in order to ensure maximum participation and avoid confusion. A series of events like Collage, Bouquet making, Solo song, Group song, and Cooking without fire, were conducted.

The inaugural program began with invoking the blessings of Almighty. The eminent Chief Guest was Mr. Satya an acclaimed dancer , Choreographer and Humanitarian .The Desalites were blessed with the presence of Fr Joe, the Guest of honor and Rev. Fr. Joshy the President of the function.

Fr Saji the pillar of strength and source of inspiration of our college, introduced and welcomed distinguished dignitaries. Rev . Fr. Joe enlightened the gathering with his words of custom.

State level Karate competition winners Soundarya V and Apoorva K were awarded certificates of appreciation.The first day’s program commenced Rangoli in the morning. The inauguration was followed by group dance. An electrifying performance by the Chief Guest was the highlight of the day’s program. Group dance competition was followed by Fancy dress competition.

The most memorable event of the day was Quiz which was interesting, informative as well as interactive. Thanks to the vibrant quiz master Fr Jijo (Vice Principal of S F S Degree college ).

The second day’s event started with face painting followed by Solo dance PPT and MIME.Cultural fest helps in development of all round personality of the students.

The RED group secured the first position after a sturdy competition. YELLOW got the second place and VIOLET came in the third position.

Vibhinna Cultural Fest 2017-18 would remain as a sweet memory – as art is next to the word of God.
