The morning was bright and fresh as it had viewed the Fresher’s Day programme. The II PU students along with college teachers had organised Fresher’s Day for the new comer I PU students.

The Chief Guest was Rev. Fr Jabamalai (Principal of SFS Public School). The Guest of Honour was Rev. Fr. Joshy (Secretary). The program enlightened by many honourable guests such as Rev. Fr. Tony (Financial Manager), Rev. Fr. Saju (Vice-Principal, SFS High School), Rev. Fr. Maria Lawrence, Rev. Fr. Durai Swamy, ,Rev. Fr. Victor Kujur (Principal, S F S P U College).

The event was hosted by Miss Anshika & Miss Aishwarya. The program started with the Blessings of the Almighty with a soothing and captivating Prayer Song. It was then followed by a Welcome Speech by Miss Fathima Reeha. Then Lamps were lighted by all the dignitaries. Rev Fr. Jabamalai blessesed the Desalites and along with all the fathers blessed the campus by sprinkling the holy water.

Rev Fr. Jabamalai delivered an inspiring speech which motivated all the viewers. Next he awarded II PU students (2018-19) who secured 95% and above in Board Exams. College Topper Miss Rakshana had shared her experiences in the college. She thanked the Principal and all the teachers and even gave some study tips to her juniors.

Rev Fr. Joshy was called upon to present awards to students who scored 90% and above. Next Rev Fr. Tony was called upon the stage to award those who scored 85% and above. Rev. Fr. Tony delivered an excellent and inspiring speech for all.

Rev Fr. Victor felicitated the Chief Guest Rev Fr. Jabamalai who is termed as an embodiment of humility and dedication The programme had a mesmerizing dance performance by “Rithya Shakthi Group”. Guest of honour Rev Fr. Joshy was requested to deliver an address to the gathering. Father had delivered a motivational speech which was applauded by all.

Teachers who had delivered 100% result in their respective subject had also been awarded. The award was presented by Fr. Joshy. Next II PU Subject toppers were awarded by Rev. Fr. Durai Swamy.

It was a pleasure so view all the parents of II PU toppers being felicitated by teachers from various departments of S F S P U College. Next a captivating dance was performed by Boys Dance Group. Then the Elected Representatives of academic year 2019-20 were given badges. Rev. Fr. Victor Kujur had given the badges to the below mentioned elected representatives:-
